Seattle.internet.com has learned that theDial.com has launched yet another internet radio program that features original material.

The Seattle-based online audio entertainment company has teamed up with The Sporting News(TSN), a weekly magazine and website for sports junkies now owned by billionaire Paul Allen, to produce a daily show exclusively for the web.

The half-hour show gives listeners a humorous spin on today's sports happenings.

"Sporting News on theDial" will be brought to sports fans by Royce Marks and Terry Ford. Marks, a former sports reporter, is theDial's resident sports guy. Ford, a veteran of morning radio shows across the country, is his comedic co-host.

Acccording to Vice President/General Manager of The Sporting News Online Jason Kint, everyone at The Sporting News is jazzed about this relationship. "Considering theDial's expertise in the audio arena, this alliance gives our sports experts a whole new medium to play in."

The show also features theDial's "Go" button technology. By clicking on theDial's "GO" button at any time during the broadcast, sports fans will receive more information about the topic, team or player.

For advertisers, theDial provides interactive audio ads that send listeners to their sites via hyperlinks, targets and tailors ads to specific listening audiences, and tracks audience response to each promotion.
