yesterday (1st july) itunes were working normaly today (second of july) i turn on my pc not onely my start up thingy doesnt automaticly turn on itunes but all of my music and movies are gone .........again....... it happened to me *counts just to be sure* 3 times...... so i have to re add my music and movies which is 30 gb of music and 26 gb of movies now im sick of it 'cause its gonna take for ever hello? 30+26 gb= 56 gb do u have any idea how to prevent this from happenin again 'cause it will i mean it happened 3 times already im sure it WILL happen AGAIN so help.....me..... PLEASE....... before i go compleatly insane.............................. im gonna go and start re adding my stuff into itunes (its gonna be a long long painful and boring day) hope to see answers soonif all your music is still there but it just says cannot find music file when you click to play it it is because your hard drive disk has change its letter when you turned it off and on so take note of what it is now.
if it happens again goto the my "my computer" icon in the start menu "right click" "manage" then "double left click" "storage" then "double left click" "disk management(local)"
then pick the hhd that your music is saved to and "right click"
then "click change drive letter and paths..." then "left click change and choose whatever the letter at the moment so you have to remember your hard drive letter
and if your hard drive letter isn't listed go to "right click" "safely remove hardware" in the task bar at the bottom of the desktop and remove the drive which is using that letter
i hope that's your problem and i hope you can understand all that.get a new computer, then you won't have to do it again after that#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
