Kirkland-based InfoMove, a developer of personalized, location-based applications and wireless services, received an undisclosed investment as part of a strategic relationship with ComROAD AG.

ComROAD, a German provider of telematics networks, has entered into the relationship to pursue new telematics opportunities.

InfoMove also named ComROAD CEO Bodo A. Schnabel to the company's board of directors.

Uniglobe.com Inc., a full-service online travel Web site, today announced that the company has received $2.345 million from Westmark Hotels, Inc., an Alaskan corporation that owns and operates 15 hotels and caters to the general tourism and cruise business.

Westmark is providing the money as a loan repayable over a five-year term. The loan is to be repaid based upon a percentage of certain commission revenues earned by the Company, subject to minimum annual payments.

According to Christopher Charlwood, President of Uniglobe.com, these funds, along with the recent US $3 million Amadeus financing, provide sufficient financing under the Company's current budget and medium-term planning to cover expenses until the Company is in a positive cash flow position.
