Tom Freed, managing director of Monster.com.hk, said that the company sees itself as a global career management network. He said that the job market is now global, but that Monster (TMPW) is committed to providing relevant and meaningful local content.

"Local relevance is very important," Freed said. "Career issues in Hong Kong are very different to what people experience in the US and Australia.
