Child support and social security?

  • my uncle is paying his child support he is in arrears with them but they worked it out on how much he should pay he has been paying it but now child support wants it all 15000 dollars and he fears they will take the rest of his check and he wont beable to servive can any one give me some input on this


  • The Child Support Bureau can only collect what the court orders. Child Support has no legal powers to change a court order. They will take him to court to start making arrearage payments though.


  • The uncle can contact child support office and see what is going on with his case with his arrearages
