Entrust Unveils Web Security Solution
Entrust/TruePass is a multi-platform, standards-based security solution. The end-to-end data protection product protects confidential data while it is in transit on Web servers, which is where most Internet theft occurs. TruePass provides digital signatures and encryption of transactions, using digital certificates to authenticate users.
The product, which is designed for a wide variety of B2B and B2C network applications, enables unique secure "roaming" access from any workstation and transparent integration into Web applications to maximize ease of use.
Entrust (ENTU) said the product does not rely on a browser plug-in or ActiveX controls to perform advanced security operations, eliminating the need for users to install software or agree to security warning dialogs.
