How come my old PC game 'red alert 2' does not seem to install on my new laptop which is 'vista'?

  • when i try to install it, it says something like, 'could not find file language mix' or something like that

  • hey that happened exactly with my friends battlefield 2, i wont be able to give a technical answer because i dont know 1 lol but to cut the long story short, Vista is to good for the game


  • red alert 2 is not made for vista there might be a patch for it but since that is a old game i highly doubt it will run on vista since it is not compatable


  • It sounds like a file may not have been copied over correctly when it was installed.Check to see if the file is present on the CD.
